On Wednesday, October 9th 2019, Artesia High School Student Council will be going pink for breast cancer awareness.  They will be asking for the help of the Artesia High School student body and staff to join them in participating in wearing pink every Wednesday of October. They will be selling t-shirts at $15 a piece throughout the next few weeks. They will also be hosting their Coin War, where all classes will be competing in collecting the most money/coins. To win the Coin War you have to collect the most money, but cash drops your points. Quarters, nickles, dimes, and pennies are positive currency and dollar bills are negative. All of the money from both the t-shirts and Coin War will be going to the Artesia Hospital Foundation, in their fight to maintain high-end equipment and medical supplies for the people of Artesia. Ask your classes student council representatives for more information.
